Getting There
You will need to fly into Denpasar International Airport Bali.
If you're coming from the UK there are no direct flights so you will need to stop in Dubai or Singapore.
Once you arrive
We recommend that you organise airport transfers through your hotel.
Our wedding is in Canggu we recommend guests that are unfamiliar with Bali to stay in either Canggu or Seminyak before the wedding.
Where to stay
We will be arriving in Bali on Saturday 12th October and staying in Canggu/Seminyak area from 12th to16th October before we head to stay at the wedding venue in Canggu from 16th to 19th October. We recommend for guests that aren't familiar with Bali to stay in Seminyak or Canggu.
Seminyak has some great hotels, restaurants and nightlife and is 35 mins from the airport and about 30 mins from the wedding venue.
Canggu has limited hotel options but lots of amazing villas, cafes, restaurants and beach clubs, it is about 45 mins from the airport and 10 mins from the wedding venue.
These are the busier parts of Bali so traffic can be heavy in places.
Here are some hotels we recommend in Seminyak and Canggu but there are lots to choose from;
Kanvas Village Resort - Seminyak - suitable for both families and couples, not on the beachfront but well priced. 15 mins from venue.
Montigo Resort Seminyak - suitable for both families and couples, not on the beachfront but well priced. 15 mins from venue.
Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort - more suited to families, not on the beachfront but very well priced rooms. 25 mins from venue.
Alila Seminyak - suitable for couples, new hotel, located on the beachfront. 15 mins from venue.
COMO Canggu - suitable for couples, located on the beachfront. 10 mins from venue.

Transport in Bali
Traffic can be busy in some areas of Bali and the main mode of transport is modpeds. Most hotels, restaurants, shops and bars in Seminyak or Canggu are within walking distance but if you do want to venture out then we recommend booking taxis through your hotel reception.
Bali does have it's own form of Uber which is called GoJek to use this simply download the app.
After the wedding
We will be heading to a different part of Bali after the wedding celebrations from 19th to 26th October.
If you would like to experience a different area of Bali we recommend Nusa Dua or Uluwatu located about an hour drive from Seminyak. These are quieter areas and have beautiful resorts with white sandy beaches.
We would also recommend Ubud if you want more of a tropical resort. Ubud is located inland amongst the rice fields.
